Caractérisation et qualification du renforcement en TFC de dalles béton armé endommagées

Abstract : This paper presents an experimental investigation into the behaviour of the repaired reinforced concrete (RC) slabs by the fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) composite strips. Theses slabs are pre-damaged by the membrane and bending loads in two directions. This study supplies one data base to valid the procedure of reinforcement focusing an application for the shell of the cooling towers. This research estimates also the profit of the reinforcement in term of global rigidity and bearing capacity of the slabs on the collapse behaviour.
